HEYLLO! I dont know if you're feeling happy or sad actually. yes you're near it, but you didn't get it. However if you see it in another way, you're just learning from your mistakes! There must be smth that caused the disappearing of it. Because humans will never be able to grab opportunities everytime, there will be regrets. Okay i hope i dont sound like a lecturer. HAHA :D
anyway, YAHUI! JUST KEEP GOING! I'll always be there for you. (at least morally) :D HAHAHA

Anyway I totally understand how you feel about 'so near yet so far'. Everyday I think about my NS ORD date is like so near yet so far...
Just remind yourself that everything that happens can have a good reason behind it, if you let it. It is through sorrow we appreciate happiness; by being in the dark we can see the light the clearest. And though consciousness of this dichotomy, transcend it.

What you say is really true. I have encountered it countless times.
The more we think about it, the more it frustrates us and the worse the situation becomes.
Thus, the best way, I guess, would still be patience, trying our best and letting God do the rest.
What we want and do not get in the end may turn out to be a blessing in disguise instead.
Let's just hope there are happy stories/endings everytime.
